Here’s the good, the fun, and the quirky: Gadget launches that stood out at CES 2026

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 saw a major movement from theory to the practical application of how technology is being integrated into our lives. This edition also saw how artificial intelligence is not about generative AI anymore; it is soon to become a core feature in devices ranging from health, accessibility, to robotics and mobility. CES 2026, as per their data, hosted 4100+ exhibitors, including some 1200 startups, with over 60% of Fortune 500 companies coming to showcase their lineups.

Therefore, Fortune India curated a list of launches and showcases that were practical, fun and memorable unveiled at CES.

Roborock Saros Rover — World’s First Wheel-Leg Robotic Vacuum

Roborock unveiled the Saros Rover, the first robotic cleaner equipped with an AI-powered wheel-leg architecture that can independently climb stairs and traverse slopes.
Each wheel-leg can lift, lower, and adapt as the robot encounters steps, thresholds, and uneven surfaces, moving cleaning robots beyond flat floors. The onboard AI uses motion sensors and 3D spatial mapping to interpret environments and adjust leg movement in real time. Launch timing is TBA.

Bosch also teased Cook AI for unified kitchen AI assistance across connected appliances. Pricing begins around $1,700 in the US.

4. LEGO Smart Bricks

LEGO announced Smart Bricks, traditional LEGO elements with embedded sensors, custom chips, and interactive capabilities.
These bricks can sense movement and interaction, respond with light or effect triggers, and open pathways for hybrid physical-digital play without screens — including themed sets like Star Wars. The Smart Brick strategy aims to enrich creative builds with responsive behaviour.

5. AI-powered robotic pets

CES 2026 saw the debut of AI Tails, a smart feeding and wellness station for pets that uses AI and cameras to monitor eating patterns, hydration, and behavioural signals.
The system analyses data for health insights, helping owners track possible issues before symptoms become obvious. Pre-orders have opened with expected shipping later in 2026.

Sweekar is a Tamagotchi-like physical AI companion that evolves through life stages based on interaction, care, and engagement. Planned for a Kickstarter launch with an approximate $150 price, it is a blend of physical robotics and personality modelling aimed at long-term user engagement.

Poketomo AI Companion is a small robot with ChatGPT-4 integration designed for conversational interaction and personal companionship.

6. AI companion robots and assistants

CES 2026 featured multiple AI assistant platforms:

Razer Project AVA, a holographic desk assistant that sits on your desktop and provides gameplay coaching and productivity support using AI analysis.

Razer Project Motoko, an AI wearable headset with visual and audio context sensing.
These products illustrate emerging categories where AI is presented as an ambient, always-listening companion rather than a traditional app.

LG CLOiD Home Robot: A household robot capable of chores such as folding laundry, moving items, and interacting with smart appliances — a step toward highly autonomous domestic robotics.

7. Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable

Lenovo showcased the Legion Pro Rollable, a concept gaming laptop with an OLED screen that smoothly expands from a standard form factor (~16:10) into a much wider display (~24:9). Built as a flexible experience tailored for immersive gaming, the rollable panel works with Lenovo AI Engine+, which includes real-time scenario detection, dynamic FPS tuning, and intelligent resource optimisation for gaming workloads.

8. Everyday devices get equipped with AI

Withings expanded its health ecosystem with Body Scan 2, a smart scale that measures 60+ biomarkers, spanning heart and nerve health metrics. Paired with a subscription service, it delivers personalised health insights, trend tracking, and proactive recommendations — representing how CES 2026 mixed wellness monitoring with consumer devices. Other Startups demonstrated rackets and ball machines that use AI for adaptive sports training, enhancing performance through feedback loops. Other daily products were revitalised, like sonic toothbrushes with breath sensors and smart sleep ecosystems that featured AI at the device level.
