The seven-year-old startup raised $190 million in April, catapulting it to unicorn status. Started by engineering batchmates Bhal and Khaitan, along with Chandra, the company’s roughly 35,000 professionals offer at-home services ranging from grooming to plumbing. After an initial hiccup during the pandemic, it is now on an expansion spree, partly why it rebranded from UrbanClap to a name with a “universal appeal”.
