Bookings for the Nissan Tekton are now open, and deliveries would begin from July 20.

The Tekton is offered with two turbo-petrol powertrains. The T160 1.0-litre turbo engine produces 100 PS and 160 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and returns a claimed 19.4 kmpl. The more powerful T280 1.3-litre turbo-petrol develops 163 PS and 280 Nm, and is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed wet-clutch DCT, delivering a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.8 kmpl (MT) and 18.5 kmpl (DCT).

Nissan said the SUV will be available in 12 variants: six each with the T160 and T280 powertrains across four trims and 11 colour options. The company is also offering special introductory prices, along with a 5-year Nissan Care package, comprising a 5-year warranty (3+2) and a 5-year maintenance package.

Here are interior details:

The Tekton’s cabin features quilted seats and door panels that Nissan says draw inspiration from the contours of the Himalayas. The SUV also gets soft-touch materials across the dashboard, a dual-screen setup with Google built-in, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera and connected car technology with over-the-air updates. Nissan is positioning the interior as a premium, technology-led space aimed at buyers looking for comfort as much as features. The Tekton will be available in 11 exterior colour options, including six monotone and five dual-tone shades, across four styling themes.

On the safety front, the Tekton has secured a 5-star Bharat NCAP crash safety rating.

Nissan is offering the Tekton with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions across multiple trims, allowing buyers to choose between a value-focused family SUV and a feature-rich premium variant. Deliveries are expected to begin shortly after bookings commence.
