Mayank Singhal,

Managing Partner, Millennial Capital
age: 35
He is a man with the Midas touch. In the past year, Singhal has seen a number of his early investments at RNT Capital, a $250-million fund he co-founded with Ratan Tata, turn into market leaders. These include healthcare and wellness startup Cure.fit, now valued at $500 million—10 times Singhal’s entry price. His other investments such as Ola, NestAway, MSwipe, and Livspace have also achieved market-leading positions. Craft beer brand Bira 91, another pick of his, is doing well. That’s not all. Singhal recently set up his own venture capital firm, Millennial Capital, and is looking at investing in the next generation of consumer and technology businesses. He is the youngest member of the global advisory board of the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Singhal has also served on the advisory council of McKinsey & Company, advising the firm on its new ventures in the areas of technology and innovation.
