Dhanya Rajendran’s online news startup, The News Minute (TNM), has grown into a distinct voice on regional coverage in the English news media space despite being in a highly competitive market. Now, TNM is mulling a paid app service focussed on news from the south. The 36-year-old journalist turned entrepreneur in 2014 when she co-founded TNM, along with her husband, Vignesh Vellore, and veteran journalist Chitra Subramaniam.
