This homegrown designer opened 29 stores last year, taking her presence to 30 boutiques and 100-plus stores across 53 cities. By year end, she’ll open her second international store in Mauritius. The big leap came when Dongre opened a 100,000-plus sq. ft. design centre and hub at Rabale in Navi Mumbai, and inducted a CFO, an HR head, a CMO, and a CTO. Revenues have grown approximately 10 times in the last four years. E-commerce, she adds, has grown five times over the past couple of years and is expected to account for 10% of the group’s revenue pegged at Rs 400 crore in FY15.
