In a little over five years, Reddy has turned Capillary into a $10 million company of 300 people present in eight countries. Its mobile-based customer management solutions are designed to assist retailers who can’t afford SAP or Oracle products. One of its offerings helps cashiers get a single-view, detailed account of a customer’s buying history (favourite items or complaints). Capillary entered the U.S., South Africa, and Australia last year. Around 55% of its revenue comes from overseas. “We are growing the most in the U.S. among mid-size merchants, with revenue between $50 million and $250 million per year,” he says.
