It has taken years for Kellogg's to reach close to Rs 800 crore in turnover. But the company knew it was going to be tough to change a country's eating habits. Pendurkar's big push has been to make Kellogg's products available in more locations. She plans to open an R&D centre in Maharashtra, close to the existing factory, even as work proceeds on the second factory in Andhra Pradesh.
