Shweta Jalan, 

Over the past couple of years, Jalan has become a player to reckon with in the private equity space. She was instrumental in cracking a complex Rs 2,000 crore Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals deal which larger, more established players were eyeing. She has also overseen the acquisition of 40% in financial services firm ASK Group for Rs 848 crore. In July, Advent acquired Dixcy Textiles, which owns the leading innerwear brand Dixcy Scott.
