All roads will lead to Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre this evening as the cream of India Inc and top women achievers come together to celebrate women power at the glittering Fortune India Most Powerful Women awards and celebrations.

From Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, who will preside as chief guest, to Ex-G20 Sherpa and former star bureaucrat Amitabh Kant who will be the guest of honour, the evening will see an array of some of India Inc’s biggest names in attendance at the event.

This year, the iconic Fortune India Most Powerful Women—also widely known as MPW—has honoured as many as 100 women achievers in its list, up from the earlier 50.This is evidence of the growing number of women who are making a mark in the world of business and policy and creating a deep impact on the Indian business environment as India marches on to 2047. From policy to law, entertainment to technology, this year’s MPW winners represent a wide variety of sectors. That is what makes this list truly representative of the new India, where women are equal contributors to the India growth story.
