In the past year, leading automotive component maker NRB Bearings overcame the lingering effects of demonetisation and the rollout of the goods and services tax, which disrupted several businesses. The numbers are telling. The Mumbai-headquartered company’s revenue grew 25% from April to July 2018. “We were one of the few companies that decided not to change original sales forecast and instead concentrated on growing market share,” says Zaveri. The company also forged a partnership with Hyundai Motor India, the second largest carmaker in the country. In FY18, its standalone turnover grew 14.1% to ₹848 crore and net profit increased 51.8% to ₹82 crore.
