Pudumjee has reinforced the values and commitments her parents had instilled into the company’s DNA. This year, the after-effects of Covid-19 hit Thermax hard. Its order book shrunk and it posted a net loss of ₹15.27 crore for the June quarter. Pudumjee has stayed resolute. She oversaw a leadership transition, with M.S. Unnikrishnan, CEO and MD, retiring. She also oversaw a comprehensive plan to manage stakeholders through the Covid-19 crisis.
