After tackling massive bad loans, Vishakha Mulye, Executive Director, ICICI Bank, is going big on offering digital solutions to corporates. The second-largest private sector lender has created over 15 industry-specific 'ICICI STACK for Corporates'. "Corporates are looking for a partner which can offer 360-degree solutions for their entire ecosystem," says the 52-year-old ICICI veteran. The bank reported a 78% rise in standalone profit in first quarter of FY2022. The standalone net profit almost quadrupled. It became the second lender after HDFC Bank to cross ₹5 lakh crore in market capitalisation in September. The bank has a sharp focus on digital presence. Mulye, who started working with ICICI Group in 1993, says the idea is to decongest the entire customer experience. In December 2020, the bank expanded its mobile banking app, iMobile, to iMobile Pay, which offers payment and banking services to customers of other banks. The app saw over 25 lakh activations by non-ICICI Bank account holders within six months of its launch. — Avneet Kaur
